Erosha: A Literary Journal of the Erotic

The term "Erosha" derives from two words drawn from ancient cultures with rich erotic arts traditions: the Greek word "eros" -- the God of Love -- and the Sanskrit word "moksha" -- liberation.

Erosha is one of the most attractive (in a very titillating way!) literary journals on the Internet, and is only a mouseclick away at www.erosha.net. What better literary journal to submit to? The following is a call for contributions by Erosha editor Donna Michele Hill ... a most felicitous solicitation!

November 12th, 2005

Dear Friends and Poets,

Many of you may know me as a poet, others as an editor (also as poetry editor of Erosha, an online journal of erotic muse and artwork: www.erosha.net). I would now like to take some of the finest poetry Erosha has to offer, and bring to readers a print anthology of sensual poetry. This call for submissions is also going out to writers who have not been a part of Erosha in the past, so please feel free to visit our site to read some of the quality works we have had the pleasure of publishing, and to get a feel for the kind of poetry we are seeking.

Please send a maximum of five poems which you would like us to consider for this anthology to dmhill@shaw.ca. Send them either in a Word document attached to an email, or in the email text itself. Be sure to include your name (and publishing name), email address, phone number, home address, and a short bio which we can publish along with any poems we may choose from you. Acceptances and confirmations with release forms to be signed will follow. The deadline for submissions is Friday March 31st, 2006. This will allow the remaining months of 2006 for desktop formatting, publishing, and marketing details, with a hopeful release date for Fall 2006 or Spring 2007. My publishing partner is Jeremy Heomsen of Satjah Projects. We anticipate this unique collection to be one of crossing borders and friendships, due to the span of this invitation, and to the number of talented and established poets we know in both Canada and the United States, if not other countries as well. Thank you for your interest in this exciting project.

Sincerely,
Donna Hill
